Vanganga Lake Garden

Lying just at the entrance of the U.T. of Dadra & Nagar Haveli this beautiful lake garden at Dadra (6 km from Silvassa) is spread over an area of 7.58 hects and is designed in Japanese style.  The garden with Central Island is connected with bridge.  Apart from the central lake other major attraction which it offers include water spread framed with tree line, restaurants fountains, boats and jogging track. With its picturesque beauty this place has been one of the popular tourist destinations and an average of 400000 tourists visits the garden annually.  The garden has also been one of the favorite spots for the filmmakers where around 40 Hindi film songs have been posturized.

Hirwavan Garden

This garden sits at the entrance of Silvassa and is named after the tribal deity ‘Hirwa’ or the green goddess. With its roaring waterfall, cascading rivulet, rippling springs streams all of which converge and fall into a single water body, this place offers a delightful and memorable experience to the visitors. Here the tourist will also be able to catch the sight of enchanting all sorts of colorful shrubs, criss-crossing footpaths and kiosks. There is a special children play section with various play equipment facilities.  The centrally located garden is immensely popular tourist destination.

Tribal Museum, Silvassa

The museum offers a fine display of the native tribal culture with their traditional ornaments, musical instruments, agricultural and house hold articles, fishing and hunting gadgets, along with several other artifacts. Apart from these the museum also exhibits life size models, wedding dresses and photographs of various tribal ceremonies that offers a glimpse into the native tribes and their culture and has been one of the favorite tourist spots in the region.

A Church Of Our Lady Of Piety

An exquisite fusion of divinity and history, this century old chapel was built by the Portuguese. The massive construction work of this church lasted for more than a century. The project commenced in 1789 and the church was complete by the year 1889.
